A global EOR platform is infrastructure. You bring a person you have already chosen, and the platform makes employing them in their country legal, paid and compliant. It is very good at that, in a hundred countries, without a sales call.
Dexee starts one step earlier. You bring a role, not a person. We find candidates, verify who they are and what their English actually is, present a shortlist, and then employ whoever you pick, in one country.
| Global EOR platform | Dexee | |
|---|---|---|
| Countries | 100 or more | Colombia |
| Finds the candidate | No | Yes |
| Verifies identity and English | No | Yes, with a human reviewer on spoken English |
| Monthly fee per person | USD 399 to 699 published | USD 599 published |
| Self-serve signup and API | Yes | No |
| Someone in the country who knows your person | Rarely | Yes, in Barranquilla |
| Replacement if the hire fails | Not their job | 90 days, published in full |
| Time to first shortlist | Not applicable | Ten business days |
On the monthly fee alone the two are close, and any platform that discounts hard on volume will beat us on that line. The fee is not where the difference is.
If you already know who you want to hire, a platform is the cheaper and faster answer, and we will say so on the call. The same goes for a company hiring in eight countries this quarter: our single-country focus is a limitation there, not a feature.
And if your team wants to do it themselves at two in the morning without talking to anyone, a self-serve product is a real advantage. We do not have one.
When the hard part is finding the person, not employing them. When a wrong hire costs you a quarter and you want the replacement risk on someone else's balance sheet. When the role depends on English that has to be real and not self-reported, which is where our verification is the actual product.
Many teams end up using both: a platform for the countries where they already have people, and Dexee for the Colombian roles they still need filled. That is a sensible outcome and we will not argue you out of it.
