What Dexee owes you if a placement does not work out, in the words that go into the contract.
If a placed person leaves, or you end the engagement for performance, within 90 calendar days of their start date, Dexee replaces them at no additional fee. Founding clients have 120 days.
The window runs from the start date, not from the signature date, and it is not paused by holidays.
Write to your Dexee contact within 15 calendar days of the person's last working day, stating the start date, the last day and what went wrong.
Dexee answers in writing within 5 business days, accepting the claim or stating which exclusion applies and why.
On an accepted claim, Dexee presents the first replacement shortlist within 10 business days, against the original role brief.
You interview and select as you did the first time. There is no second placement fee, and the guarantee window restarts with the replacement.
The guarantee is a commitment about the person Dexee presented, not about changes on your side after they started. It does not apply when:
The remedy is a replacement. If Dexee accepts a claim and does not present a shortlist within 10 business days, you may take a credit for the placement fee against any Dexee service within twelve months, or ask for it back. Dexee does not limit its liability below the fee you paid for that placement.
Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that applies to your contract.
Send the terms to your counsel and write to us with what needs changing. Dexee would rather negotiate the language now than argue about it later.
